About the ECIU Student Council
The ECIU Student Council currently consists of 13 representatives appointed by each member university's student union. It's responsible for coordinating projects, organising events, and representing students' interests at all levels of the consortium.

How to contribute to the Student Council
There are multiple committees within the Student Council, working to improve the learner experience, contribute to policymaking and get student voices heard. All students are welcome to express interest in supporting the Council's efforts.
Education committee
Work with the central education team to support educational and quality assurance processes, such as learner guidance, course portfolio and micro-credentials. Contribute to projects like the European degree and flexible learning pathways.
Outreach committee
Work with communication experts and external stakeholders to support marketing and media processes across ECIU and ECIU University. This includes providing feedback on communication channels like our website and social media.
Community committee
Work closely with ambassadors and student groups across member universities to contribute to community events, student mobility, alumni support and other community-building activities. The committee will be represented in the ECIU University Forum task force.
Digital committee
Work on IT-related processes, including our digital platform for students and topics like AI in education. Provide feedback on user experience and support digital developments within ECIU and ECIU University.

Note that new positions in committees open every 6 months and are announced on ECIU communication channels. If selected, your membership will last one year.
