What is ECIU University?
ECIU University is an alliance of 12 universities in Europe, founded by ECIU members in 2019. It's also one of the first alliances to join the prestigious European University Alliances initiative that now unites over 570 institutions.
ECIU University connects students with businesses, teachers, researchers, organisations and communities to address real-life problems and contribute to real change - all while developing future-proof skills and building a basis for their career.
What is ECIU?
ECIU (the European Consortium of Innovative Universities) is a consortium of universities united by shared beliefs and values. Founded in 1997, it aims to foster a culture of innovation across member institutions and become a catalyst for global change.

Meet our members across Europe
Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland, is a young, dynamic and ambitious university with a distinctive mission to transform lives and societies through education, research and innovation. Since admitting its first students in 1989, DCU has grown to a student body of over 20,000 from over 120 different countries across five campuses.
Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Germany, is a competitive, family-oriented and sustainable university with high performance and quality standards that strives for research excellence. It contributes to the development of the technical-scientific competence of society by educating the next generation of engineers with modern teaching and learning methods.
With 90,000 alumni across all economic sectors and 3,000 new graduates each year, the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées is a leading French group of engineering institutes with several campuses. Based on a strong research-industry-education nexus, it attracts students with a high academic level.

Lodz University of Technology came into existence in 1945 and is situated in the forth biggest city of Poland. It is a dynamically evolving university with well-developed structure. Education and research is provided at nine faculties, but there are many complimentary units functioning within the University – e.g. International Faculty of Engineering, a unique unit of TUL offering programmes taught completely in English and in French. Nowadays TUL is one of the biggest and the best state universities in Poland, famous for its innovative teaching methods as e.g. challenge-based learning.

University of Stavanger (UIS), Norway, is an innovative and international university. Our societal mission is to challenge the well-known and explore the unknown.
The University of Trento (Italian: Università degli Studi di Trento, German: Universität Trient) is an Italian university located in Trento and nearby Rovereto. It has been able to achieve considerable results in didactics, research, and international relations according to CENSIS and the Italian Ministry of Education.
