Join the European Universities Walking Challenge

This April marks the launch of the first-ever European Universities Walking Challenge, bringing together students, academic staff, and university communities from across Europe in a shared movement challenge.
📅 When? April 1 – April 30
👟 What to do? Walk, move and collect steps!
The goal of the challenge is to identify Europe’s most active universities. Rankings are based on the average number of steps per participant, meaning every single step counts.
Why join?
By participating, you can:
- Stay active and boost your wellbeing
- Enjoy time outdoors with peers and colleagues
- Represent your university on a European level
- Help your university and climb the leaderboard
💡 Invite your friends, classmates or colleagues to join, because the more participants the university has, the stronger its results will be!
🏆 The prize pool started at €2000 and continues to grow with every university that joins.
There are five prize categories, including:
- Most active student
- Lottery wheel winner – with every participant automatically entering the lottery
- and more!
